A UNESCO World Heritage Site, Þingvellir National Park is home to Iceland’s largest natural lake and the place where the tectonic plates of North America and Eurasia split and drift apart.

At Gullfoss waterfall you can take a short walk down a pathway, get right up close to this powerful waterfall and feel the mist of glacial water on your face.

The Geysir geothermal area is home to the geyser after which all others are named, as well as the Strokkur hot spring, which blasts out water every few minutes up to 20 metres into the air. Stroll around this hot spring area, bubbling in geothermal activity and experience the energy of Icelandic nature.
